Job Title: Piping Supervisor
Location: On-site, Zeitz, Germany

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Piping Supervisor to join our on-site team for a major industrial project in Zeitz, near Leipzig. The role will serve as the primary technical point of contact for subcontractor piping teams, overseeing installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordination & Subcontractor Management

  • Supervise and guide subcontractors on piping erection.
  • Organize and lead weekly coordination meetings; document outcomes.
  • Review and approve subcontractors' execution methods in collaboration with HSE and site management teams.
  • Monitor work sequences and ensure alignment with other disciplines.

Work Progress & Execution

  • Develop and maintain the piping execution schedule in line with the overall project timeline.
  • Track progress, identify deviations, and report delays.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with contractual and quality standards.
  • Analyze technical challenges and propose solutions in collaboration with management.

Quality Control & Compliance

  • Supervise and inspect quality of piping works.
  • Identify non-conformities and assist in corrective actions.
  • Prepare documentation for Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) as required.

Handover & Pre-Commissioning

  • Coordinate non-destructive testing and validate subcontractor procedures.
  • Prepare handover documentation between subcontractors and other disciplines.
  • Inspect completed work, create snag lists, and support pre-commissioning activities.

Role Guidelines

  • Technical modifications require prior approval from site management.
  • Any financial impact from scope changes must be pre-approved.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of piping supervision experience on large-scale industrial projects.
  • 5-10 years of experience in the agro-industrial, chemical, or related sectors preferred.
  • Professional English proficiency; German native-level preferred.
