  • Assist in prioritizing projects aimed at boosting production capacity, improving energy efficiency, and advancing EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) performance.

  • Prepare and review documentation such as PFDs, P&IDs, scopes of work, and equipment specifications to facilitate the capital project process.

  • Review and approve new operational procedures and equipment operating limits. Design and deliver training programs for operations and other teams to address major changes and conduct annual refresher courses.

  • Engage in MOCs (Management of Change), PHAs (Process Hazard Analyses), LOPA studies (Layer of Protection Analysis), and incident investigations to identify and implement process safety and EHS improvements.

  • Support Maintenance and Operations during turnarounds by offering pre-turnaround engineering advice, assisting with planning specialized work, performing equipment inspections related to process concerns, coordinating catalyst replacements, and participating in plant restarts.

  • Maintain effective communication and build professional relationships with all departments and plant personnel.
