Job Title: Commissioning Site Planning Engineer (Contract)

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Role Purpose
Support the finalization and execution of the commissioning schedule for a large petrochemical project in Antwerp through to project completion. Work closely with the Commissioning and Planning Managers on site to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule Finalization & Optimization

  • Refine and complete the commissioning schedule using Primavera P6.

  • Incorporate late scope changes, vendor constraints, and punch list impacts.

  • Align commissioning activities with construction and startup teams.

• Execution Support

  • Develop 2-week and 4-week look-ahead schedules for field teams.

  • Monitor daily progress and address potential delays.

  • Support system handovers and readiness reviews.

• Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and critical path analyses.

  • Support KPI reporting and earned value tracking.

  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.

Profile Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Controls, or related field

• 10+ years in industrial project scheduling, 5+ years in commissioning

• Experience with large-scale construction projects; turnaround scheduling preferred

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Certifications such as PMI-SP, AACE PSP/CCP are advantageous
