The position sits within the corporate legal team and will work closely with the firm's investment professionals, finance, and senior leadership.

The successful candidate will be a seasoned transactional attorney with a strong understanding of corporate, M&A, and financing structures, and ideally some exposure to renewables or infrastructure project finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple transactions and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Required Qualifications

  • JD degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
  • Admitted to the New York Bar (or eligible for admission).
  • 6-10 years' experience in corporate or tax law, ideally within a top-tier law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Strong background in M&A, private equity, or project finance transactions.
  • Deep understanding of how tax incentives, equity structures, and financing mechanisms affect project economics.
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to balance legal rigor with commercial pragmatism.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior experience with renewable energy, energy transition, or infrastructure deals.
  • Familiarity with tax equity, energy credits, and incentive-based financing structures.
  • Previous in-house experience or secondment within the energy or infrastructure investment space.

Why Apply

  • Join a high-impact investment platform driving the future of clean energy.
  • Work on complex, high-value transactions across multiple technologies and asset classes.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package, including 100% employer-paid healthcare and paid parental leave.
  • Long-term career growth in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
