Location: Deer Park, TX or Baton Rouge, LA (hybrid, WFH Fridays)
Salary: $120,000 - $170,000+ DOE

Package: Healthcare, 401(k), car allowance ($6-9K), profit share scheme, discretionary bonus

Overview
We are working with a well-established automation and process controls consultancy supporting clients across the continuous process industries. With offices in both Texas and Louisiana, they deliver engineering and technical solutions to major players in oil & gas, petrochemicals, and specialty chemicals.

The business is looking to strengthen its team with experienced Automation Engineers who have strong DeltaV expertise and ideally additional knowledge of Honeywell TDC/Experion systems. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver automation solutions across continuous process and specialty chemical facilities.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain DeltaV systems, with exposure to Honeywell Experion/TDC as a plus.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and control strategy improvements.
• Collaborate with site operations and engineering teams to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant automation.
• Contribute to project delivery across both Louisiana and Texas sites.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years' experience in automation/controls engineering within gas, petrochemicals, or specialty chemicals.
• Strong working knowledge of DeltaV (must-have).
• Exposure to Honeywell TDC/Experion highly desirable.
• Background in continuous process industries - oil & gas, refining, petrochemicals; not batch or life sciences.
• Ability to work across multiple sites with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
