Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Piping Superintendent to join a major industrial greenfield project in Lillo. This is a leadership role within the integrated owner and EPCm team, providing oversight, technical guidance, and support to ensure safe and flawless construction execution through to commissioning.

The position requires a strong background in large-scale project execution, with proven ability to work across multiple disciplines and influence contractors and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Construction Manager with site-based technical decisions to ensure effective construction execution and transition into commissioning.
  • Review, comment, and approve construction execution procedures, specifications, and contractor deliverables.
  • Lead by example in applying HSE life-saving rules, ensuring a safe working environment across all construction areas.
  • Act as a bridge between EPCm contractors, construction contractors, and project leadership to resolve challenges and maintain alignment.
  • Participate actively in project reviews and workshops, including constructability, sequencing, and progress meetings.
  • Provide practical and innovative solutions to technical and execution challenges, avoiding unnecessary micro-management of contractors.
  • Facilitate coordination meetings with EPCm and construction contractors as required.
  • Manage ad-hoc project operational and logistics tasks as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Strong technical background as a Project Field Engineer or Construction Superintendent with solid execution experience.
  • Minimum 15 years in large-scale industrial project execution, with particular strength in greenfield construction management.
  • Experience with Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology and systems completion management.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multicultural project environments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders outside direct reporting lines.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment.
